PREVENT CREDIT ABUSE - PROMOTE CREDIT EDUCATION
ABOUT OUR ASSOCIATION:

Credit Professionals International (CPI) was established in 1937 for individuals working in
the credit industry.  CPI’s focus is on strengthening the credit industry and the individual
through education and interaction. We also promote consumer education in the community in
partnership with our sponsoring companies and through the
Credit Education Resources
Foundation.  We support the Foundation and the National Center for Missing and Exploited
Children.

CPI's VISION is to be an innovative, member-driven association making positive contributions
within the credit industry.  CPI's MISSION is to support the members of Credit Professionals
International by providing opportunities for networking, career development, and community
involvement.

CPI of Eastern North Carolina is one of six local associations in the state of North Carolina.
The others are CPI of Cabarrus County, CPI of Charlotte, CPI of Fuquay-Varina, CPI of
Gastonia, and

CPI of District III & IV, which consists of the eight Southeastern states.

Membership is open to anyone who is or has been employed in the credit, collection, or
financial industries or by a company that utilizes those services.  CPI of Eastern North
Carolina has members from the Rocky Mount, Greenville, and Kinston, NC, areas.
