Credit Professionals International
Credit Professionals International (CPI) is a professional association established in
1937 for individuals working in the credit industry. Our focus is on strengthening the
industry and the individual through education and interaction. We also promote consumer
education in the community in partnership with our sponsoring companies and through the
Credit Education Resources Foundation. CPI members raise funds for the Foundation and
for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and we provide speakers and
materials for seminars on Identity Theft, Understanding Your Credit File, and other credit
related topics.
Membership is open to anyone employed with or retired from entities providing and/or
utilizing financial, credit, or collection services.
Credit Professionals International of Georgia
Credit Professionals International of Georgia is one of eight state associations in
District III & IV, which consists of CPI associations and members located in the states of
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and
Tennessee. CPI of Georgia members are also active in the Inter-City Credit Council.
There is one local association in Georgia: CPI of Atlanta. Business professionals located
in other cities within the state may join as Direct members and still participate in State
workshops and other activities.
The Goals of Credit Professionals International
CPI's VISION is to be an innovative, member-driven association making positive
contributions with the credit industry. CPI's MISSION is to support the members of
Credit Professionals International by providing opportunities for networking, career
development, and community involvement.
