PREVENT CREDIT ABUSE – PROMOTE CREDIT EDUCATION

ABOUT OUR ASSOCIATION:

Credit Professionals International (CPI) was established in 1937 for individuals working in the credit
industry.  CPI’s focus is on strengthening the credit industry and the individual through education and
interaction.  We also promote consumer education in the community partnership with our sponsoring
companies and through the Credit Education Resources Foundation.  We support the Foundation and
the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

CPI’s VISION is to be an innovative, member-driven association making positive contributions within the
credit industry.  CPI’s MISSION is to support the members of Credit Professionals International by
providing opportunities for networking, career development, and communication involvement.

CPI Cabarrus County is one of six local associations in the state of North Carolina.  The others are CPI
of Charlotte, CPI of Eastern NC, CPI of Fuquay-Farina, CPI of Gastonia, and Business Professionals of
the Triad.  CPI of North Carolina is part of CPI of District III & IV, which consists of eight Southeastern
