| The FTC has set up a special website to help consumers avoid scams related to the current financial crisis. www.ftc.gov/MoneyMatters, t CPI members can go there to get the information they need to pass on to consumers. Sometimes I think the federal government is a huge bureaucracy that can't get anything done. But then I see stuff like this from the FTC and the FDIC and realize that some parts are really producing some useful information and assistance. |
